Coronavirus cases rising in India again, 22,854 new infections registered in last 24 hours

In a major cause of concerns for the Centre and medical authorities, India on Thursday registered close to 23,000 new Covid-19 cases in a single day, the highest in the past two and half months and around 5,000 more than the previous day`s cases.
